WORTH is very excited to be attending the opening ceremony of the Lodz Design Festival in Poland on the 19th of May, where we will be present during the announcement of the winners of the Make Me! competition and the handing over of the main prize ‘The Paradyż Award’.

Make Me! Is a competition addressed to designers, makers, students and graduates, especially from art and design disciplines who have an enthusiasm to want to resolve needs or problems through design.
The competition has two stages after the application process that closed March of this year; in the first stage, 20 projects are selected and displayed in the post-competition exhibition during the Lodz Design Festival. In the second stage, one winner is given the main prize – ‘The ParadyŻ Award’ that consists of 11.500 euro, sponsored by the Patron of the Festival – Ceramika Paradyż.
The key purpose of the contest is to identify and support young people who are ready to compete or come up with interesting design ideas. Contestants will be opened up to new opportunities including the chance to display their work at additional exhibitions and receive mentions in publications. Consequently, they will receive more recognition and a jump-start in the design industry.
