FASHION TRENDS FOR 2021: ARE YOU READY TO BE INSPIRED?

FASHION TRENDS FOR 2021: ARE YOU READY TO BE INSPIRED?

The new year has just begun, and everyone is thinking about how it is going to be. We cannot foresee what will happen all around, but fashion will be of course the protagonist in the upcoming months. Let’s discover what to expect for 2021!

Let’s start by talking about colors: Pantone.com has recently revealed the Pantone color for 2021, with a mix of PANTONE 17-5104 Ultimate Gray and PANTONE 13-0647 Illuminating. This unique combination is aspirational and conveys a message of strength and hope. Will we see on them on the catwalks? It all depends on you!

Regarding our daily life, what we discovered during the past months is that quarantine can’t stop fashion! Sunstar.com foresee that lounge sets will continue to be a hot commodity. Most designs come with a sleek embroidery or a fun graphic, with those simple pieces, they are all about quality, that need not to be forgotten. In addition, now the fit is more relaxed than ever, with a silhouette that works for most body types.

Regarding menswearFashionUnited highlighted some interesting trends for the SS21, like the reimagination of modern man in traditional natural linens in sport or streetwear-inspired silhouettes. Another interesting trend highlighted by the online magazine is the reworking of athleisure and sports shapes via artisanal patched and pieced constructions.

If we talk of womenswearVogue.co.uk also made an interesting overview regarding the 12 Biggest Spring/Summer 2021 Trends, highlighting the effect on how working-from-home had on designers and how it had transformed their renewed sense of resourcefulness. There will be some monochrome magic all around, with black and white dresses for day and night. Fashion will surprise us again as bralettes will be back, minimalist or covered in rhinestones. Floaty maxi dresses will be also protagonists of the ladies’ wardrobe with floor-sweeping and sheer styles.

It doesn’t matter if we can’t go out, it’s always important to shine. That’s why Tribune.com made an interesting overview dedicated to jewellery trends for 2021, as compiled from British Vogue. We’ll see neon colors that will brighten our days, as big names like Versace and Chanel presented neon jewellery, the French brand, in particular used classic ladylike pearls and splashes of neon tones that will catch the eye. During 2021, you will also see more cuffs all around, Chloe – for example – showed sculptural cuffs in mixed material. Chic and sporty at the same time!

Last but not least, for Vogue.co.uk the principles of architecture will meet jewellery, giving life to a brand-new trend: architectural jewellery. The London-based artist Simone Brewster, for example, is using city skylines and geometry as inspiration for her creations.

No matter what the new year will bring, we are sure it will be full of colours, creativity and surprising fashion news. Are you ready to create something astonishing? Let’s start!
