INTRODUCING THE NEW STEERING BOARD MEMBERS

We would like to share the new additions to our amazing Steering Board Members team of the WORTH Partnership Project. The new additions to the team are all influential in their own unique ways throughout the European creative industry and are eager to share their knowledge and experiences with current and future WORTH Partnership Project participants.

We are proud to present new members of the WORTH community: Kendall Robbins, Wolfgang Kathan and Natsai Audrey Chieza.

Kendall Robbins: Senior programme manager of the British Council’s architecture, design and fashion team
With her role at the British Council, Kendall programmes, curates, produces and commissions architecture, design and fashion events and exhibitions across East Asia as well as in the UK. Currently her work focuses on fashion futures, craft and cultural heritage, emerging fashion economies and fashion design education. Her career has also seen her working with other major projects such as Seoul Biennale of Architecture and Urbanism, Jakarta Fashion Week, Lagos Fashion and Design Week, Riyadh Fashion Days, Skopje Fashion Weekend and many others giving her an amazing rounded experience that she can now pass onto WORTH participants.

Wolfgang Kathan: Senior innovation manager at Swarovski Professional
Through his position at Swarovski Professional, Wolfgang manages a large transformational innovation program which facilitates technologies for the next generation of manufacturing.
His specialties range from disruptive potential assessment, open innovation, business model innovation, and ideation to agile and lean start-up. Wolfgang has a background in business administration with a PhD in management giving him both education and expertise to share with the next generation of creators. He also has a powerful mission that aligns directly with ours at WORTH: to enable and push the development of innovative problem solutions that contribute true and sustainable value to the users of the solution.

Natsai Audrey Chieza: Designer, change-maker, and TED speaker
Natsai works at the intersection of creative and biotechnology industries and is also the founder and director of Faber Futures, a London-based biodesign lab that is catalysing the alignment of DNA-scale engineering with the methods and principles of critical design thinking for the circular economy.
Her TED Talk offers listeners a glimpse into the future of a synthetic biology industry primed to transform the creation and circulation of goods and services. Natsai’s pioneering design-driven practice however specialises in bacteria pigments for sustainable textile finishings which has been exhibited at prestigious institutions internationally and sits in permanent collections including at the Forbes Pigment Collection at Harvard Art Museums, Cambridge MA. Natsai has an amazing array of industry experience that also includes being a part of Ginkgo Bioworks, teaching at various prestigious design schools and being honoured in OkayAfrica’s 100 Women 2018 for her work in STEM.
