Organic seats that are nourished to reach the desired shape, glass objects for home decor derived from special waste, new alternative materials to animal skin derived from fish, illustrated children clothing that are enriched with new content through an augmented reality and interaction with an app: Recycling, sustainability and advanced use of technology confirm the mantra at the heart of creativity and innovations experienced by the new generations of European designers who, under the Worth Partnership Project, an initiative financed by the European Union COSME programme, will be online from the 15 th to 21st of June to tell their projects and concepts behind.
Re-inventing design in a changing world
7 video meetings for 7 topics for 7 days: to discover Worth Partnership Project and how European designers have interpreted themes such as the circular economy, digital production, the use of high-performance materials, social innovation and craftsmanship 4.0 just connect to FuoriSalone TV, from 15 th to 21st of June 2020. Every day, at the same time as the live video on FuoriSalone TV, the protagonists of the projects and the international experts who are part of the Worth Community will be available on Zoom to answer questions, curiosities and exchange experiences.
WORTH Partnership Project is the four-year project funded by COSME, European Union Programme for the Competitiveness of Enterprises and Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs), which promotes transnational partnerships between designers, creatives, manufacturing companies (SMEs) and tech firms to develop innovative and design products. In particular, the 63 winning projects on air on FuoriSalone Digital are the result of the Second Call of the WORTH Partnership Project and involve 144 partners from 24 European countries.
