Sometimes interior design is about interactions: between art, sculpture, light and you for example. As in the case of Zettel’z 6 lamp, created by Ingo Maurer in 1998.
The feature that makes unique this lamp – made of stainless steel and frosted glass – is the possibility for whoever buys it to use their creativity by hooking some sheets to the structure with tweezers. The sheets, made of thin, translucent Japanese paper, can be personalized with sketches or personal messages or left completely blank, arranged as desired and changed from time to time.
The result is a fascinating composition, in which light propagates in a unique, direct and diffused manner according to the different placement of the pieces of paper, with a high scenic impact.
