SUSTAINABILITY IS A MAJOR CONCERN FOR SHOPPERS, THAT’S WHY COMPANIES SHOULD PAY IT ATTENTION

GfK, together with Europanel and Kantar, has studied consumer concerns and behaviors across more than 75.000 global households, highlighting that sustainability is a major concern for shoppers, as by 2025, over 40% of consumers will adjust their buying behaviour to be more environmentally-sustainable.

So sustainability is not only good for the planet, but it is also becoming a key consideration for consumers when making purchases. The Berlin-based brand Horizn Studios knows that very well as it created the new Circle One luggage, made of plant-derived material and designed to be repaired indefinitely. Circle One is completely biodegradable and plant-based, with a shell made from a patented natural fibre composite called BioX. When we’ll be able to travel again, it will be the perfect choice for environmentally conscious travellers!

Another example of attention to sustainability come from the Italian sneakers brand Yatay, that combines the highest quality with an equally high level of eco-sustainability. Yatay trainers are made by using a mix of ecological materials like polymers extracted from cereals and maize, cellulose derived from 100% sustainable plantations and insoles derived from the tyre recycling process. The eco-sustainable commitment covers the entire production cycle.
