ACDL ARTISAN CHAUSSEUR DESIGN LAB. ACDL1 CUSTOMISABLE ANKLE BOOT NEON
Creation of a pioneer footwear brand based on a non-seasonal style offering and commercialised in Omni retail channel anticipating the style, personalisation and sustainability of the future of fashion.
The ankle boot is inspired by Italian interior design of the late 1950’s and of the spirit of the French Nouvelle Vague. Mixing architectural lines and comfort, Neon is the first proposal of ACDL for a contemporary and urban luxury. Luxury lady shoes manufactured by Italian shoe-maker company and designed by a luxury footwear designer.
The prototype created is a non-seasonal capsule shoe collection using innovating tools such as 3D rendering and printing which saved time in the prototyping phase, help in being more precise in terms of design and make possible the customisation of the product. In the research for sustainable components, the first product managed to have an Eco-friendly, recycled inner sole and a tested heel made of natural fibre.
The partners have launched the website and the pre-sales during the Milan Design Week and presented the product in Milan, Paris and Berlin.
