ETTE

Skin aims to explore the world of leather through a collection, revealing the material we encounter daily but know little about. What is leather? How is it made? Which animals and processes are involved?

ETTE

The message of the project

The project seeks to explore the world of leather through a collection—a material that is common and present in daily life yet remains largely misunderstood. What is leather? How is it transformed from skin? Which animals are involved? What processes and individuals contribute to this transformation?

The idea behind the project

The ETTE project aims to transform the textile industry by merging traditional craftsmanship with innovative digital solutions. There is a pressing need for a sustainable approach that respects both the environment and the artistry of textile creation. Irya’s commitment to eco-conscious, artisanal textiles is combined with Frizbit’s advanced AI-driven marketing strategies to create a unique value proposition.

This project intends to enhance the consumer experience by offering personalised textiles that not only meet aesthetic desires but also align with ethical production values. By bridging the gap between craftsmanship and technology, the project strives to redefine how consumers interact with textiles, fostering a deeper appreciation for the stories and processes behind each piece.

What next?

The future goal is to create a community of conscious consumers who value ethical production, driving a shift towards a more sustainable and personalised future in the textile industry. Through ETTE, the aim is to elevate awareness of traditional craftsmanship and its relevance in today’s market by integrating innovative digital tools with artisanal techniques. The commitment to sustainable practices will not only minimise environmental impact but also enrich the consumer experience, fostering a deeper connection between people and the textiles they choose.
