Greenhouse Cabinet

Nurturing tropical plants and enhancing your interior, this elegant cabinet blends sustainability and design to integrate nature into your space.

Greenhouse Cabinet

The idea behind the project

The Greenhouse Cabinet emerged from a personal journey of rediscovery during the COVID-19 pandemic. Dominika, a fashion designer, found solace and a newfound passion in nurturing tropical plants at home. However, the plants she was cultivating required high humidity—conditions that her home could not provide. Existing solutions on the market were either unattractive or lacked the functionality to meet the specific needs of these plants.

As her collection grew, so did the need for a functional and aesthetically pleasing solution to house these plants in an urban living space. Together with René, an engineer, and Andrzej, a manufacturing expert, Dominika set out to design a modern greenhouse cabinet that would not only meet the humidity requirements of tropical plants but also seamlessly blend aesthetics with functionality. The cabinet is constructed from recycled materials, combining sustainability with modular design to fit any home environment. The goal is to create a high-quality, customisable greenhouse cabinet that supports plant health while enhancing the living space.

What next?

The Greenhouse Cabinet aims to fill a gap in the market for sustainable and attractive indoor plant care solutions. As the post-COVID interest in home gardening continues to grow, the project is positioned to offer a product that meets the demand for both aesthetic and practical indoor plant displays. The vision is to scale production and make the Greenhouse Cabinet accessible to a wide audience while emphasising sustainability, local production, and fair trade practices.

By integrating advanced functionalities such as customisable lighting, humidity control, and modular configurations, the Greenhouse Cabinet offers a versatile solution for both novice plant enthusiasts and experienced gardeners alike. The ultimate goal is to enrich people’s homes and lives by bringing nature indoors in a sustainable and stylish manner.
