The message of the project
The concept is a realisation of a dynamic light that adapts to its surroundings, is fun, and small, and is made possible by natural materials and rigorous manufacturing skills of high quality.

The idea behind the project
The project is a natural and necessary evolution of LIDIA MURO's foldable, sustainable, and handcrafted handbags. Lidia wanted to push the brand into the house, so she created lights with a similar concept.
The creative process begins with the material (parchment) and the notion of creating lights that adapt to their surroundings, growing them from modules with the ability to dismantle and store them compactly, as well as being adaptable, capable of serving several functions.
Lidia designed the lighting. To build the stackable light modules, Ivano offers the fundamental material: parchment, which he modifies to vary demands in terms of thickness, transparency, and polish. Gianluca, a multidisciplinary craftsman, is in charge of the lamp's construction out of parchment and other materials.

What next?
The plan is to develop a series of lamps, as indicated above, and then commercialise them.
They will collaborate with interior designers and architects to spread the word about the product. The lamp that results from this partnership will definitely be a work of art, and hence rather pricey. Consider building a more cost-effective line using more readily available materials and more standardised procedures.
