Lisa Ivarsson & Youniq

Youniq is a fashion-tech platform where users can design their own garments using AI and have them delivered to their homes, eliminating the hassle of sourcing, production, and fulfillment.

Lisa Ivarsson & Youniq

The message of the project

The fashion industry is often characterised by significant entry barriers, dominated by a small number of corporations. Youniq is working to break down these barriers in design, sourcing, manufacturing, financing, and fulfillment, enabling greater creativity to flourish in the fashion world. Using Youniq’s innovative technology, designers, stylists, influencers, and even individuals with no formal background in fashion can create their own clothing designs and wear them.

If a design gains popularity, the creator can launch their own brand and sell through Youniq without any costs. Each item is personalised and sustainably produced on a made-to-order basis, ensuring timeless, non-seasonal designs. For every item sold, the designer receives a share of the revenue, fostering both creativity and financial empowerment.

The idea behind the project

Through the WORTH Partnership Project, Youniq is collaborating with Lisa Ivarsson, a respected fashion label based in Barcelona, Spain, to develop a new and versatile collection. The garments are designed to balance workwear functionality with elegance. Classic tailored silhouettes are reimagined with sporty fabrics, drawstring details, and raw-edged denim accents, resulting in pieces that are both sophisticated and adaptable.

What next?

Youniq envisions transforming the current fashion landscape, which it likens to the era of cable television: seasonal, pre-determined, and dictated by a select few. Instead, the goal is to democratise fashion, empowering individuals to express their unique tastes and styles.

In this future, designs are timeless rather than seasonal, reignited on demand and made-to-order when desired. Everyone has the freedom to create their own choices, with limitless opportunities to share their creativity with the world. By removing traditional restrictions, Youniq aims to replace seasonal cycles with an inclusive system where imagination becomes the only boundary, achieving true democratisation of the fashion industry.
