WHAT WE DO
Our project is stirred by a collective reflection on how people live, design, and consume. Since environmental and social challenges exist in the textile field, whilst some textile crafts are being lost, we are convinced that restoring the relationship between material and know-how is vital.
Our practice is regional, fueled by the local ecosystem of Transylvania, Romania. We create onground, by immersing ourselves into a dialogue with the land, people and traditions. We are celebrating the ecosystem's resources such as wool and extracting natural dyes from local flora.
The stories we seek to tell through weaving are regenerative and nonlinear, touching upon the collective knowledge, the gifts of the soil, sheep herds, Romanian symbols, sounds and landscapes. The process is willingly tak-
ing the time to research and question our impact.
We work with manually powered and digital methods, wishing to make the local stories durable in time, such as building a generational bridge.
