Responsibilities

Maria Vytinidou, Chemist-Designer-Fashion Entrepreneur, distinguished by VOGUE ITALIA for her entrepreneurship, started her career as a Marketing executive at a multinational company and continued as a Fashion Designer by creating Innovative Wearable Technology and Ready-to-wear Luxury Collections with the label ‘Μaria Vytinidou Luxury Design Brand’.

Being a graduate of Central St Martin’s College of Arts & Design and London College of Fashion she had also the skills to become the founder of AthensFashionclub,a leading school in Fashion & Business, and the 1rst Athens Fashion Business Incubator ‘The Fashion Gate’.

She presented with success for the first time the Wearable Technology collections at the international conference “Nanotexnology 2013” by incorporating high technology materials in the garments, such as leds, flexible solars, el-wires and optical fibers.

In 2013 she established her company as one of the best 20 High Fashion Technology companies in the world after participating at the business accelerator Contest Startupbootcamp High Tech XL in Eindhoven of Holland, while 2 years later in 2015 the international exhibition Fair ‘Premiere Vision’ announced her as one of the most Innovative Fashion Designers in Wearable Technology.

She is an official member of the Orange Grove Accelerator of the Dutch Embassy in Greece and also jury of the New Designers Award Contest at AXDW.

The designer created ‘The Fashion Gate’ Fashion Incubator in 2016 by providing business growth, consulting and mentoring to emerging designers and fashion startups, which ended with success for the first year for 12 Fashion brands that participated at Styl Kabo International Trade Fair.

She has given plenty of talks, presentations and pitches for Fashion & Business and she has also presented her collections many times at Athens Fashion Week, TV Channels, published press, magazines and newspapers.

In October 2017, she was the Project Leader of the longest fashion show in AXDW by presenting 112 garmants, made by the students of her Fashion School.
