Responsibilities

Parvinder joined the British Council in 2018, where she oversees architecture, design, and fashion programmes in the EU and South Asia. She manages Design Connections, a yearly delegation programme for museum directors and festival curators from around the world.

Parvinder worked in the Netherlands, establishing a portfolio that included writing, curation, and interior design. She earned a Distinction in her Masters in Architecture and Urbanism from Manchester School of Architecture, as well as a first-class BA in Architecture and a BArch. She has written a lot of pieces about Indian architecture and design, a subject that has captivated her, and has become a regular writer for Mark Magazine in this region. Parvinder contributed to the creation and growth of XS Architecture, a platform that showcases and sells items developed by Dutch architects such as MVRDV and UNStudio. She has contributed to the websites Failed Architecture and Works That Work. She specialised in building startup workplaces, such as Growth Tribe and VRBase. She also taught at Amsterdam's Academy of Architecture.

When she moved to London, she worked as a Creative Producer at architecture firm HASSELL, where her advocacy for equality, diversity, and inclusion resulted in a stronger connection with the Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust.
