WORTH II Partnership Projects

Embracing the New European Bauhaus Vision

WORTH II's 1st Call attracted 123 applications from 285 applicants and selected 65 projects from 149 participants from 28 EU-COSME-associated states, supporting the New European Bauhaus initiative. This call challenged designers to envision and develop more sustainable, inclusive environments, encouraging innovative ideas that reimagine how we live and connect with our surroundings.

Exploring New Frontiers in Innovation

The WORTH II 2nd Call received 123 project proposals and 276 participant registrations. Out of these, 70 outstanding projects from 25 EU and COSME countries, involving 161 partners, were selected to join our incubation programme. This round was dedicated to EU priorities like: circular economy; transition towards more sustainable production and consumption; advanced digitised manufacturing; digitised value chains and business models; social innovation and social inclusion; European cultural heritage preservation; reinvention of craftsmanship; shaping a new generation of innovators, entrepreneurs, professional and citizens through innovative training and re-skilling tools; unique and disruptive design approaches; bolstering the EU single market and use of innovative materials, driving a more sustainable future through design.

Record-Breaking Participation

The WORTH II 3rd Call saw record engagement, with 142 applications and an unprecedented 320 applicants from 34 EU-COSME-associated states. Following a rigorous evaluation, 69 unique projects were chosen, featuring 158 partners from 25 countries ready to spark change. These projects contribute in an innovative and creative way to the objectives of the third call: circular economy (including green transition, energy efficiency, reducing carbon footprint, sustainable production and consumption); digital manufacturing; high-added value solutions (with a focus on disruptive approaches and digitised value chains); high performance and innovative materials; reinventing craftsmanship; social innovation (including European cultural heritage preservation for social cohesion and well-being).
