As part of one of the many initiatives that we proudly support, ADMA is a fundamental part of the type of activity we believe really makes a difference in the world of small medium enterprises.The European Commission initiated the establishment of a European Advanced Manufacturing Support Centre to help manufacturing SMEs assess the possibility of adopting both advanced manufacturing solutions as well as social innovation strategies thereby transforming their organization towards next-generation factories with more competitive, modern and sustainable production. This 3-year pilot project started June, 2018 and as of March, 2020 the Advanced Manufacturing Support Centre (ADMA) has done the following:
- Deployed one, uniform European transformation methodology for manufacturing SMEs;
- Certified >50 ADMA advisors through train-the-trainer sessions
- Engaged close to 100 Supporting Organisations in 22 different European countries
- Performed >300 ADMA maturity scans
- Sent >30 ADMA transformation plans to manufacturing SMEs in 11 different countries
- Organised 5 ADMA Learning Network events, aiming at peer-to-peer learning between manufacturing SME CxO’s
