Caribú is an ethical accessory brand "made in Spain". We offer handmade products where we want to highlight their quality and design. Our product is timeless, unique and quality.

The message of the project

The key message of our project is using surpluses for creating our products, that means to use things that others don't want to use. From now on we have been using surplus leather from the luxuryindustry, we have been creating our products with the leathers of other brands that they don’t want to use anymore because they have changed their mind about that quality or color or because of overstock.  

Now we want to go further on this and also use the surpluses from the food industry. We want to add a new line of vegan products in our brand and create vegan bags with AppleSkin. 

The idea behind the project

The idea behind this project is to create timeless accessories but with an added value, the using of surpluses. We create timeless bags to last a lifetime. We flee from fast-fashion and mass market, so our idea of consumption is less quantity and better quality.  

We inspirate on basic volumes, comfortable and unique. Design is one of our biggest priorities, we want our styles to be unique and all having the AND from Caribú: minimal, useful and clean. 

What next?

This project was born 3 years ago, we started 2 weeks before the covid pandemic and all these years we have been learning day by day and growing day by day. We aim to achieve 3 big goals with this project: 

  1. Get more multi-brand stores with our products: Nowadays we have our products in 3 stores in Barcelona, one in Madrid and one in London. Our idea is to get more multi brand stores to expand ourselves and to make ourselves known. 
  2. Expand our product around Europe: Our sales nowadays are focused in Spain (where we are from) and our idea with this project is to get known around European countries. 
  3. Reach the vegan customers that are not into using leather products. Until now our production was only leather and we think that adding a vegan product would help us to reach that vegan customers that are not into using leather.
