On-demand clothing concept with digital measuring online

A project by Anna Ruohonen Paris and Choozr that will bring the made-to-measure clothing to e-commerce with an innovative digital measuring system.

On-demand

The message of the project

Anna Ruohonen Paris with Choozr will bring the made-to-measure clothing to e-commerce with an innovative digital measuring system. Individually produced designer clothing by craftsmen can be adjusted to clients' measurements from distance. This project is targeted especially for tailor-made production, but the concept can be adapted on a larger scale in the fashion industry.

The Idea Behind the Project

The project idea is to propose a pilot for a new business model. The model that will produce less, well designed quality clothing, that is personal, adjusted. The model of no stock- concept will reduce overproduction and therefore waste. Well made products can be repaired, recycled and reused. Accurate product will reduce returns, increase the lifespan and therefore reduce the carbon footprint.

What next?

Slow fashion and quality clothing are the green way for a more sustainable future. Made-to-order and made-to-measure present the inclusion at its best. There are no stock limits, body size exclusions or distance borders. Local European production and craftsmanship can reach the global market, the knowhow can be saved and cherished. European, sustainable labels can serve the clients with specialized products worldwide.
