Flatter My Figure

The message of the project

Flatter My Figure goal is to make people feel their best in clothes and help brands reduce waste and returns. They believe in finding beauty in reality, acknowledging everyone’s unique body shape. The project is a customer-centric solution that guarantees the perfect fit for your unique body shape and removes the frustration of shopping online, disregarding size completely and focusing on the users unique body measurements, her style and what flatters her figure.

The idea behind the project

When Gozi Ochonogor discovered that it was cheaper for brands to throw away returned clothes than restock and sell them, she sought to find a solution to the problem. Fit is the number one reason behind returns; it frustrates customers, reduces brands’ bottom line and is bad for the environment. Although many technology solutions attempt to improve fit, the problem is still inadequately solved. Gozi recognised there was more to fit than just size.

After conducting unbiased interviews with brands and customers, they realised that shopping was also emotional and psychological. Their solution addresses these.

What next?

Flatter My Figure's future goal is to expand on this technology so it assists brands in creating more consistent and accurate clothing for the myriad of body shapes.
