HEELENA FOLDABLE HIGH HEELS.HIGH HEELS THAT CAN BE CHANGED TO FLAT SHOES IN SECONDS, AS A DESIGN BASES FOR FUTURE SHOES
To create footwear with a high component of design able to be used in different situations during the day: high heels for an elegant outfit and flat for a more casual one.
The partnership has created a pair of shoes with Smart design created by Jorida Papa and incorporated the folding device created by Martin Riebe from Heelena. They have investigated in the adaptation of the mechanism to the design created. The mechanical parts were optimised and sometimes replaced by other solución in order to fit the design.
Additionally, the product was tested successfully at a testbench developed only for this project and was successfully showcased in Brussels and Milano were it even got attention of the brand Armani.
The partnership is working on the creation of ground rules for further design concepts (including assembly details, possible designs and upper shoe fixation) and achieved further mechanical optimisations (successful improvement of the heel stability).
They are working to launch the producto with different designs.
