Full Circle Trace

Full Circle Trace is the integration of NFC technology into garments in order to create a digitally compatible circular garment which promotes:

• The prolonged use of a garment through interactive care modules
• The seamless use of the Full Circle take-back program to ensure the loop is closed
• A realistic value perception of the garment through transparent pricing information
• Maximum recyclability through a verified material passport
• Collection of data on the garment’s life cycle

This will be made accessible through the strategic implementation of custom programmed NFC tags within our circular garments. 

In order to access the Full Circle Trace platform, simply hold your smartphone close to the garment’s washing label, which is located on the left side seam.

The focus of this project is on how the application of this technology - in the context of a circular model - will increase implementation of circularity and sustainability across all production and use-stages of a garment. We partnered with Seritag, an expert on NFC tags and software development, while we (Full Circle) provided practical knowledge about circular fashion and understanding of market relevance of this project.
